In some areas, the flattened indigo shapes are reminiscent of Javanese batik. Wtih Italian, Moorish and Asian influences...this is truly a global abstract that feels at home in a variety of spaces.  

The piece features shades of navy blue, brown, gray and just a hint of olive and coral.
